A recent talk on Llywelyn Bren at the Twyn Community Centre in Caerphilly, co-facilitated by Ciwdos and Delyth Jewell, drew a packed audience. The discussion reflected a clear local appetite for a deeper understanding of the town’s cultural and historical identity.
The event also pointed to opportunities for further engagement, including how local institutions might recognise and interpret figures such as Bren in the public realm.
This work forms part of a wider effort to strengthen belonging, social reciprocity, and an evolving Welsh citizenship rooted in place and participation.
